LSP avalanche courses are designed for the motivated student willing to commit to significant pre-course study and preparation. The goals are to utilize limited classroom time for discussion and directed learning, and to maximize field time for practical application of skills, techniques, and leadership in companion and group rescue.
It is expected that you will complete all pre-course online modules and reading assignments prior to the start of the course. Failure to do so does a disservice to yourself and fellow students at best, and will result in removal from the course at worst.
